Which images can I use?
Use JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MiB per image. The main editor keeps up to 4 image items; use the separate batch page to process multiple files. Use images you own or have permission to edit, and check the results.
Step-by-step guide
Upload an image
Open the upload page and choose a JPG, PNG or WebP with the upload button, or drop files onto the upload card. Choosing one image opens the single-image editor.
Open the image editorOn-device processing
Keep on-device mode selected and wait for processing. First use loads the model and runtime. To stop, use Cancel on the processing screen.
Check edges and continue editing
On the result page, switch between the original and removed-background preview. Inspect edges before refining, choosing a background and exporting. Gallery examples are saved results; opening one does not run new inference.
Limits and troubleshooting
- The main editor accepts only the first selected, dropped or pasted image each time and keeps up to 4 image items. Retained encoded data and input reservations share a 128 MiB limit; this is not a total browser memory limit.
- Editable images must not exceed 32 megapixels or 12,000 pixels on either side. The separate batch page accepts up to 50 images with at most 200 MiB of input files in total. Empty files and unsupported formats are rejected.
- Check hair, glass and fine edges. Cancelling in the main editor keeps a cancelled item that you can retry or remove after pending work finishes. Separate batch results distinguish successful, failed and output-limit items; the ZIP includes retained successful results only.
